Lisa’s minor studies were in nutrition and her Master’s thesis was on supplements. With the opening of the new practice women began asking Lisa to provide them with more holistic and complimentary options to improve their health. Lisa spent months researching products with strong research data to support their quality, purity, and absorbability. As she began to make product recommendations patients asked her to have the products available in her office as a more convenient option than using the internet. A second company was developed to meet this request and Lisa named it Jewell’s. Jewell Roberts was Lisa’s Grandmother. Jewell provided, all her life, for her family owning and operating a dry goods/gift store in rural Missouri. Lisa spent many hours in the store with her Grandmother cutting material, wrapping presents, making bows, and helping customers. It is with honor and gratitude that Lisa has given this business her name.
