Lisa has been practicing as a Certified Nurse Midwife/Nurse Practitioner since 1992. *Education: Master of Science from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing 1992, Certification from the American College of Nurse-Midwives 1992, Bachelor of Science in Nursing Truman State University 1984. Lisa came to Virginia in 1998 and delivered babies at Augusta Medical Center from 1998 until 2003. She was employed at UVA in the Women’s Place as the Nursing Educator and Obstetric & Newborn Care Systems Analyst from 2003-2007. In the spring of 2007 she opened her current practice—Femme Care where she provides Women’s Health Care Service. She recently stopped delivering babies while her daughter is in High School. in the future she may again provide prenatal & birth care but not at this time.
Debra Allen is our Office Manager and will be helping you to schedule your appointment and answer your questions. She comes to Femme Care with 20 years of local experience in managing physician’s offices in the health care industry. With her extensive knowledge on insurance billing and coding, she will help provide answers to your toughest insurance questions.
