Lisa has been practicing as a Certified Nurse Midwife for 18 years and has 25 years of experience caring for women. She came to Virginia in 1998 and delivered babies at Augusta Medical Center until 2003. She was then employed at the University of Virginia Medical Center in the Women’s Place as the Nursing Educator and Obstetric & Newborn Care Systems Analyst. She also provided part-time vacation call coverage for the Nurse-Midwives at Shenandoah Women’s Health Care delivering babies at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. It is with great joy that Lisa opened her own private practice in the Waynesboro community. She looks forward to seeing those of you she’s cared for before and meeting those of you who will be new to her care. Her practice focuses on providing well woman care with an emphasis on holistic options balancing hormones, vitamins and nutrition. For now, she doesn’t provide prenatal & birth care.
