The Foundation is dedicated to advancing quality of life and discovering cures for spinal cord injury. This is personally close to me because in 1989 my father became quadriplegic after a swim diving injury. Even though my dad is no longer with us, he is still the inspiration in all of my endeavors and drives me to do the best I can each day, no matter what the circumstance. He very much related to Christopher Reeve after his accident as well.
